#Sabzevar to #Mashhad
Although we managed to fatten our pockets with dollars a little bit more, we reach Mashhad still thinking about the lack of money. Finding a way to withdraw some dollars will make our lives more relaxed. Anyway, this won’t happen here.
Not much happens in the holy city of Mashhad, where the 8th Imam Reza is buried, and a massive sanctuary-shrine is built on his tomb. We spend more time wandering around to find a carpet seller to get some dollars, more than actually visiting the city.
Our bad luck in finding dollars is slightly mitigated by the nice dinner we have at our hostel, where Valis, the landlord, entertains us with is eccentric personality and his carpet.
